STAR, NBC Universal Home Entertainment - March 2003 – Sept 2005

Overview: SOX complicant financial forecasting application.
Role: Senior Programmer Analyst
Implementation: Client-Server, VB6, Hyperion Essbase, SQL Server 2000, Excel 2000
Summary: A budgeting and forecasting tool for the Home Entertainment business built upon Essbase and SQL Server technologies. STAR produces a three-year ultimate and an in-year forecast for each title by customer, territory, format, window, fiscal week, and local currency. Actuals data is extracted from a DB2 datamart, transformed and loaded into Essbase using Hyperion EIS. Forecasts are produced by applying decay-curve and regression-based formulas. Financial analysts create ad-hoc reports using the Essbase Add-In for Excel. Client-server application deployed using Microsoft SMS enterprise installation technology.

Operational Support System, Myrient - Sept. 2001 – March 2002

Overview: Intranet application that reduced company operating costs by increasing employee efficiency. Software also referred to as OSS.
Roles: Project Manager, Lead Application Engineer
Implementation: ASP, COM+, n-tier, IIS 5.0, Clustered SQL Server 2000, Visual Basic
Summary: OSS provided the admin with customer management, and customer account management. A product database was available, enabling the sales force to create orders. Engineers fulfilled orders and recorded the changes in OSS. To handle customer service needs, a ‘trouble ticket’ workflow process was built into OSS. OSS Feature List: Invoice customers regularly, edit invoices, print invoices, post payments to customers accounts, adjust customers accounts, credit customers accounts, create new customers, send customers to collections, create new orders, fulfill orders, store unique configuration information for each service or piece of hardware provided to customer, trouble tickets management, workflow management.

World-eCash, Iocene - June 2000 – Sept. 2001

Overview: Secure, fault-tolerant payment processing gateway.
Role: Lead Application Engineer
Implementation: ASP, COM+, n-tier, IIS 5.0, Clustered SQL Server 2000, Visual Basic
Summary: Features include credit/debit card transaction processing, fraud-protection services, charge back reconciliation, recurring charge system, remote user management, content management, affiliate referral tracking, asynchronous payroll system, multiple merchant account and processor capabilities, and extensive web-services exposed via SOAP.

Overview: Municipal bond trading web application.
Role: ASP Developer
Implementation: ASP, VB Script, MTS, COM, MSMQ, Cybersource, UPS, WinNT4 & 2000
Summary: Features include multi-tiered architecture, complex bond-pricing capabilities, trade transaction processing, and clearinghouse communication/integration.

Overview: Customizable B2C and B2B e-Commerce web application.
